With the year 2019 came the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement. The University of Fine Arts at Kaposvár, Hungary has asked us to organize a workshop for their students, who do mostly theoretical or digital studies there.

The aim was to introduce them to the design process of three dimensional, real matter objects which they can also build. The first day we spent with getting familiar with the virtue of Bauhaus and designing, talking about their possiblities and needs, and how to meet them. The next 3 days we spent building benches while constantaly consulting on the designs and the working processes as well. As the ammount and size of the material was already given as well the tools we brought, it was easier to get them involved in the basic principle of Bauhaus as ornament is the way you create, not something you create.
