I am multidisciplinary designer and visual researcher from Budapest, Hungary and am currently based in Vienna, Austria. I have worked in the cultural scene of Budapest and Vienna, designing and building physical installations, objects and furniture for the Hungarian House of Photography, Kolorádó festival, Improper Walls Gallery, Question Me and Answer and Tonhalle Wien among others.
Inspired by the cultural heritage of material awareness and bricolage culture that evolved during the socialist era of Hungary, I believe in the democratization of technology and the means of manufacturing as a facilitator of a personal future. My current work uses photography and collaborative projects to induce the feeling of responsibility towards one’s representation in the material world. Studying aesthetic recognition of sustainable, circular methods, and the cultural preconceptions that surround them, I am an avid anti-styler, greatly valuing personal ideas and
tacit inputs. Collecting and observing personal interventions, make-shift solutions, and so called immortal objects, I explore self-representation in the material world with a special focus on change, decay and degradation.
